Experience
M2 Aerials is led by Jon Ollwerther on the business development side and Emmy award winning drone pilot Eric Austin on the cinematography side. Jon and Eric have worked with drones on features and shows ranging from Fate of the Furious, Point Break, Greatest Showman, The Long Road Home, Billions, Scorpion, The Good Wife, Last Flag Flying, Queen of the South, Fear the Walking Dead, and many more. They also have extensive experience using drones in the fashion, sports, broadcast news, and advertising industries.

Operational Excellence
M2 Aerials flight operations are overseen by SVP of Flight Operations, Chris Courtney. Chris served over 24 years in the US Army and Coast Guard as an officer, aviator & paratrooper accumulating over 3,000 flight hours. He is an expert in aviation operations and built M2’s flight operations following military best practices. Chris and his team have achieved an industry-leading safety record with a 99.9% airborne success rate. M2 is supported by a team of professional engineers and pilots who vet every drone flight and inspect all equipment to ensure safe, legal and insured operations.
